Installing it
Android calls this sideloading. It is a normal install, done by hand instead of by a store. Takes about a minute.
- Download the file. Tap Download APK above. Your browser saves it to your Downloads folder.
- Open it. Tap the finished download in your browser, or open your Files app and find it under Downloads.
- Allow the install. The first time, Android asks you to allow installs from your browser. Tap Settings, switch on Allow from this source, then go back.
- Install and open. Tap Install, wait for it to finish, tap Open. Done.
If Google Play Protect shows a warning: that is standard for any app that did not come through Google Play. It is telling you the file came from outside the store, which it did — from this page.
Updates. When a new version is out, the app tells you when you open it, and it is posted on this page too. Install it the same way, over the top of the old version. Your loads and records stay put.
